Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra, Mi Mix, Mi Band 6 launch today: Price, livestream, features and lot more
Xiaomi had earlier launched the Mi 11 in China and global markets which became the first smartphone to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor.
Xiaomi launch event time and livestream
The launch event is scheduled for March 29 i.e. today. According to the official post by Xiaomi, the event will start at 19:30 GMT which converts to 1:30 am IST. It will be an online event. Xiaomi launch event livestream will be available on company’s official YouTube channel as well as social media platforms. Mi 11 Ultra specifications and price (not sure)
The new Mi 11 Ultra is expected to be powered by the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor used on the Mi 11. It is tipped to feature smartphone maker’s new silicon-oxygen anode battery for the smartphone and super-fast charging. Mi 11 Ultra will reportedly feature a 5,000mAh battery. It is expected to support 67W wired charging, 67W wireless charging, and 10W reverse charging.
The smartphone is expected to be launched in three colour options - Truffle Black, Citrus Yellow, and Mint Green.
Mi 11 Ultra is likely to feature a 50-megapixel main sensor, two 48-megapixel cameras one for ultra-wide and the other for zoom shots up to 120x and a 20-megapixel selfie shooter housed in a punch hole. Given the improvements in camera and battery departments, the smartphone is expected to cost more than the Mi 11.
Mi 11 Youth Edition specifications and price (not sure)
Mi 11 Youth Edition or Mi 11 be a more affordable addition to the Mi 11 line-up. It is expected to be launched in both 4G and 5G variants. The smartphone is expected to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 780 5G chipset. This will make the Mi 11 Youth Edition the first smartphone to pack this processor.
Xiaomi has already confirmed that the smartphone will be extremely slim at just 6.81mm thin. This means that it might skip the 3.55mm headphone jack. The Mi 11 Youth Edition is expected to get 6.55-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution.
The phone should get a 64-megapixel main camera with 5-megapixel macro sensor and 8-megapixel ultrawide angle lens. It is likely to have a 20-megapixel front camera. The Mi 11 Youth Edition is expected to get up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The phone is expected to be powered by a 4,250 mAh battery which will also get 33W fast charging.
Mi Mix specifications and price (not sure)
There are rumours that the new Mi Mix smartphone might come with a folding smartphone. It is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset coupled with 12GB or 16GB RAM and possibly 256GB storage. The device should pack a 4,500mAh battery with support for 65W fast wired charging.
The camera is likely feature a 50-megapixel 50MP main sensor, a 48-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, and another 48-megapixel camera with 5X or 2X optical zoom. There is no clarity on whether Xiaomi wants to bring this smartphone to other markets or not.
Mi 11 Pro specifications and price (not sure)
Mi 11 Pro is expected to feature a 6.81-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1440x3200 pixels. It should pack a triple rear camera including a 108-megapixel main lens and two 48-megapixel sensors. The phone should run Android 11 and is expected to pack a 4970mAh battery with fast charging.
Mi Band 6 specifications and price (not sure)
The new fitness band will succeed last year’s Mi Band 5 and is expected to have an NFC chip on board. It will also feature an in-built GPS, SpO2 sensor, and 19 new exercise modes. Xiaomi is expected to equip the band with a Pomodoro Timer which will let you control your smart home devices using the Mi Home platform. It's unclear if this feature will be available on both the global and Chinese variants.
